Marilynn Boyko is a native of Los Angeles-East Los Angeles and South Central areas.

  • Background in retailing, education, non-profit management, and buisness ownership.
  • Teacher/counselor for thirteen years at Lincoln High School in East Los Angeles.
  • Administered employment programs under CETA and JTPA funding for disadvantaged youth.
  • Administered employment programs for persons with disabilities in the South Bay Aerospace industry.
  • 20 years experience in fund raising, public relations, marketing and writing.
  Other Skills Include:

  • Administered employment program that placed persons with disabilities in private industry.
  • Managed a staff of ten, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
  • Developed all internal and personnel systems; marketing and promotional materials; community outreach; financial reporting systems; staff development and public relations campaigns.
  • Managed five events netting from $10,000 to $198,000.
  • Managed fund raising activities, volunteer committees and private industry participation.  Administered grants and contracts and coordinated activities.
